Well, Australia is a popular country amongst many would-be immigrants - particularly from certain countries - so I am somewhat skeptical when someone puts relocation out there, in an initial email.

No sane person would relocate to neighbour someone they've never met before (possibly in another country) to just be friends. I've never had any turn off messages before other than one which was from a girl (from another website) who simply asked "I'm looking for a boyfriend, your profile looks good and I was wondering if you want to have a relationship with me?". The odd thing was, is that she was completely genuine. I'm pretty savvy and can spot a scam a mile off, but I could tell she was being honest. Bizarre. |

The really long ones where they tell you how beautiful you are (especially when you don't have a face pic on your profile) and how much they love you. They are usually from a widowed engineers with a son who needs a mother.
