Is it offensive?

Is it offensive to buy my mother a cook book? she is a fantastic cook she really is and i know she loves to learn new recipes however do you think she will think im trying to say she cant cook if i buy her a cook book?

I wanna get her something nice, this is really important!

Nope, don't think it's offensive @ all, add a little note to it saying, mom i love your cooking and thought maybe you'd like to try some different things to cook/make that you've never made before & I'd love to be the taste taster

But if you really want to get her somehing special here is my little advice.
Get her a nice professional massage and a facial! Even if she never try these type of stuff she will love it!

Yep Lynda you can always tell what a man is like by the way he treats his mom. Chilledice no matter what you give her she will love because it came from your heart. I agree a little note from you would be extra special.

Personally speaking i love cooking, my brother was a chef so he taught me some stuff but il never be as good my mom lol
