Flirtations at Home Depot

I decided to spiff up my kitchen cabinets with new drawer pulls and cabinet knobs. So, off to Home Depot one Saturday morning where I quickly found some lovely knobs. Now there were lots and lots of screws- and it occurred to me that an electric screw driver would be really handy. So I went into the tool department.

There is some primitive lust in the souls of men that motivates them to collect tools- this they share with chimpanzee's and other primates. The tool department is like some irresistible temple where men must go on Saturday mornings- and so I found it quite well attended. A helpless looking woman holding a totally foreign tool cannot be ignored- especially when she drops it. I had two guys- one youngish in a ball cap, one older guy, silver hair like a lion's mane both trying to explain how to "chuck up" (their word) a screwdriver bit. I bought the tool, and out in the parking lot I met ball cap again (I would rather have met lion's mane). We talked and I guess I let it slip that I lived alone. Anyway- he ended up hanging all my cabinet knobs and I fixed him a really nice dinner.

Oh yes it is Rhonda and so is the Bass Pro Shop the sporting store. It's full of tasty little morsels... they have a fudge shop where they give out free samples.

Oh Rhonda, not all men are like you said about power tools, I have always been like that. Grew up sharing a lot of hours out in the garage fixing things and working on cars. My dream would be to have a laser compound miter saw,.........but I digress, you can find a lot of cute young guys in Home Depot and Lowe's and if you look like you are helpless then the better, they are there to help you. I don't get that kind of attention, cause I know as much as they do....dang. Oh well.
