People block and do not want to see what others opinions or different views are because they are afraid of what those people will write. The only thing I can see that blocking does, is not letting people differ in their opinions. The blocker always wants to be in control and cannot stand to be challenged.

Absolutely Biggles - which is why I have never felt the need to block anyone. I do not feel threatened by anything anyone else has to say.

ahhh no and that means HELL NO in case I wasn't articulate enough! Oh and admin sorry, for not ignoring that post but SHE WAS THE ONE who mentioned ME after supposedly blocking me and asking to be blocked by me. So does that mean that you allow people to name and openly talk about others who can not defend themselves because they have blocked the people who have requested that you block them?

Very good point HC - it is inappropriate to have our names listed on a public thread. There is absolutely no reason why this information couldn't have just been passed to Admin privately. Perhaps Admin could find out why it was thought necessary? Are we all meant to be sitting at home flagellating ourselves out of misery now because of it? Oh and that means....no I am really not that insecure that I have to patronise everyone else to convince myself how clever I am. I am now done and will make no further related comments.
