Culture Clash

Ive always been interested in women older than myself.
Being from the UK, the idea of dating someone out of your age group is still quite taboo.

My journey began in chatrooms, msn, yahoo, lycos etc. just looking for conversation and to hopefully meet new friends.
Something became very apparent very quickly, Americans definatly embrace this culture, more openly, honestly and freely than we do here in the UK. I have met some fantastic people over the years that I am truely grateful for, however the patience required to find someone of similar likemindeness is often unbearable lmao.

I always lied about my age when I was younger just so that the women who I had an attraction to AND was attracted to me, did not feel ashamed of the age difference.

I became frustrated at the fact that there was such a stigmatism attached to dating an older woman here, knowing that across the pond was the home of the "cougar", "milf", "soccermom", "yummymummy" and "Sarah Palin" lmao

Slowly but surely The tide is turning, and our society is becoming more acceptive of this. I welcome the day that the number of british pumas increase As much as I appreciate sites like this the ladies here have a bloody hard job with the tens/hundreds/thousands of messages they each recieve, Maybe one day.... just one day... I'll be the prey and not the predator.......
