I think there is too much emphasis placed on the definition of "cub" or "cougar". Men of any age can be attracted to older women, regardless of what you call it. 36 sounds like a fine age to me, for whatever that's worth.

Not sure about all the rules if there is any. I personally think for a woman to be a cougar she should be 40+ and the age can go up so long as the lady wants a younger man. Now this is where the guys ages come in. Some of the ladies do want a certain age group like only in their 20s but that does not mean all the ladies are that way. I am 61 and I like men starting in their 20s up to 15yrs younger than me. I have talked to guys that have their age preferences too so it is all left up to the individual. You guys don't worry about your ages because there will be ladies that will just adore you.

You're fine lagr01. Don't worry about it. Most of those early 20 yo's you see really aren't as serious about dating an older woman as you may think. Most are just flirting a little (or a lot) to see where it will get them. You've lived a little and obviously have a better handle on what you'd like out of life and I say go for it and don't worry about the stupid labels! |
