I like younger men, but my God they have to be legal, and these teachers that are doing this with their students, are just not right in the head. It's called being a pedophile. If they wanted someone younger they could have gotten someone at a bar, or any where but a school. I have to believe they are sick puppies.

Like Luna said, I think it's just that they're reported more. But imo, if the student was willing and at least 16, then it it should be acceptable because at 16, they've had Sex Ed. and know exactly what they're getting themselves into. Also, the teacher should know to at least use protection...

No 8ball, even if the age of consent is 16, it's inappropriate because the teacher has a role of authority over a student. This is officially condemned as "fraternization" in many organizations even between adults because it leads to all kinds of actual problems or problems of perception (coercion, favoritism, etc) - with minors involved it's even murkier.

The term MILF is only sexy to an immature boy, not to an older woman or anyone who actually appreciates older women. It is an offensive term to us older women. I disagree with 8ball though. There is absolutely no reason for a teacher, in a position of authority, to be involved with anyone under the age of 18. Ever. And I do not believe, sex ed or not, that any 16 year old knows the repercussions of sex, no matter if they are male or female. Kids of that age do not, have not, and will not ever make the best choices for themselves at that age. It is the responsibility of the adult authoritative figures to steer them in the right direction at least, give them options, but not to completely screw up their lives at that age. They are just not capable of making a life changing decision at that tender age. I also do not believe that it's right even if the kid was in high school, or college. People in positions of authority, especially over children and young adults, should be held to a higher standard and should not be allowed to date, fraternize..whatever..with their students.

Well, I don't really see teachers as authority, at least in High School... Also, having sex isn't really a life-changing event, but getting someone pregnant is which goes back to what I said about protection and Sex Ed...

But sex IS a life changing event..how could it not be? People are taking sex way too lightly these days, especially teenagers who are getting pregnant as young as 12 years old. Granted, it looks like a fun thing to do on TV, and they probably sortof know that you can get pregnant, but have you heard some of the stupid **** rumors? You can't get pregnant your first time having sex. Yeah, right. You can't get pregnant if you're on your period. Uh huh. You can't get pregnant if you have sex upside down, douche with Coke after...and a million other stupid siht things that young girls believe. Oh yes, and the "it will never happen to me" syndrome. My favorite.
