I LOVE PIT BULLS. I think they might be the cutest dogs of all time. At least I have see them act that way. Granted I don't own any, but I think they are super precious overall.

so im walking my 3 dogs in the old neighborhood. we get to a canal that i let my pitbull swim in. near the end of the canal just before the street, the canal has a very large walkway to get out. so i start thinking my younger chihuahua would do good in the water, i throw him in next to the walkway. by this time my pitbull has walked out of the canal. my chihuahua just couldnt seem to find his way out of the canal, and im thinking about jumping in. my pitbull watching the dog in the water the whole time, notices me pulling out my cell phone and wallet and he jumps into the water before i can to push the little guy onto the steps~!!! pits are one of the best breeds of dogs out there. not knocking any other dog because every dog has its purpose, they dont call em mans best friend for nothing. the american pitbull terrier is the descendent of dogs that came from ireland. when the irish settlers came to america the settlers who did not bring their dogs realized really fast how much the dog could do for them. long story short, the pitbull was purpose bread to be able to in numbers be able to warn off predators such as bears and mountainlions, as well as hunt and do farm work like plowing the fields. so in essence the dog had to be strong enough to take a bear, fast enough to catch a jackrabbit, and brave enough to do it because this was in a time when it was do or die. unfortunately we as humans have the lust for blood in our nature. as we have proved over time with such theorys as when a bull dies in the heat of a struggle, a battle, the adrenaline pumping through its veins made the meat more tender. sadly the american pitbull terrier with its lock jaw was a prime candidate to bite down on the bulls nose(and be flung around violently and relentlessly without the ability to let go) until the farmhand saw fit to kill the bull. and dont get me started about dog fighting. let me just say there was a time when the sports leagues had standards but letting michael vic play ball again is a disgrace. is my nephew supposed to look up to this guy? well thats my pitbull wrap, i thought i would take the thread back for us pit lovers and show that not only can a pitbull be an excellent companion and protector but can also have the presence of mind to SAVE another dog, let alone a person. its sad we have used this great animal in ways which disgrace its name, then somehow were left unaccountable for the situation theyre in today. theres organizations actively trying to ban the american pitbull terrier form the united states. next is german shepards and chows and dobermans and itll keep going! I have an English Setter gun dog,, cant imagine why anyone would want a pit bull, where I live its just a statement on a lead, I am harder than you and my dog is harder than your dog, just watch it eat that child over there if you dont believe me. In the UK they are now banned I believe, and not to soon either... Before you all scream at me, no I dont blame the dogs, I blame the owners and the breeders, who construct these monsters, if there is one person here who could put their hand on their heart and say that they would leave their cuddly pit bull in a room on its own with a child I will show you an idiot or a liar. I would not leave my setter on its own with children...... sorry I have a friend whos little girl was attacked by two friendly pit bulls,, so please dont give me ****.. Yes you have hit a sore spot.... |

should of seen how ****ed his owner was, but hell look what happens when your dog isn't chained up and it comes after me and my kid while were walking. He got my jacket pretty good but i sorta put it in a neck hold and yanked on his legs towards his back until they popped. hahhaha damn he let go of my jacket quick and started yelpin, dropped him and he started floppin around on the ground trying to bite so i tossed him up in the trash can, picked my kid up and kept walking. My pups is a english pointer, he lets her sit on him, yank on his ears stick her hands in his mouth pull his tail, drag him around by the collar, put blankets over his back and he sits there and take it while waggin his tail. he also sleeps in her bed and goes on walks with us and is generally by her feet where ever she is. couldn't ask for a better dog. hes taken nips at her before, but thats because she was doing was hurting him. i highly doubt he'd ever bite her and i'm sure he knows whats going to happen if i saw that. I think hes happy to be rescued from the pound and have a family again. |
