I don't believe in fate. To believe in fate is to deny free will. If fate were true, then it wouldn't matter what chocies we make as "fate" would state no matter what you do you cannot change it. Therefore, if you cannot change or affect something, then there is no free will or "choice."

An example of "fate" was in the updated version of The Time Machine. The man continued to go back in time to save his wife from getting run over by the horse and carriage. Finally after multiple attempts to save her, she would get killed soon by some other way. Finally, he noticed that no matter what, she was destined to die around that time.
