Personally, I think it is like anything else.
People click or they dont.
What do younger men have to offer that older men or same age men do not?
Energy, vitality, imagination, creativity.
I dont expect a younger man to "save me" or even pay or be the end all answer.
Any man at any age can be non compatiable.. a cheater, a liar, immature, etc.
You know what you are looking for so perahps focus on what he is looking for and if it is a match..... dont settle for less. You earned your years.
Younger men tend to seem to enjoy older women because they are stable, mature, dont change their mind every sixty seconds or even every day; tend to be professional and secure.
You have kids? You probably arent interested in a young man who can be another kid to care for. If you are, question that "care taker" role.

I doubt I will ever meet anyone online from my area or region and I am not willing to travel. My professional life doesnt afford it. Yet I do find the encouragement to know that I am just as energetic and vivacious as ever.

Maybe you will meet a man your age or older and he will be "the one" but why discount the younger man in the hunt? When I meet a younger man and he thinks I am 40, why tell him I am 50? Its like telling the 28 yr old he seems 22. It is what it is if it clicks.
