Thank you, everyone, for your responses! Whether I am in cougar in training that is possible... but I am hoping that by the time I am 50 I will be happily married and out of the dating scene (have never been a big fan of it).

As it is, most of the vibes I get is that of a stigma, especially from my mom.

C_M, that sucks about your birthday! Princess Di's death is one of 3 major world events that I remember exactly where I was when it happened. Having your birthday on her funeral is like getting married on Sept. 11 or being born on Christmas.
