I agree 8ball, that would be a lot for me to come up with!
But the iphone is nowhere near $400 anymore. You can get them as cheap as $99 for the 3G or $199 for the 3GS with twice the gigs. Also, many companies, like the one I work for, offer really nice discounts too.
