Not a small number of guys who think that they're attracted to older women have, in fact, little or no experience with women of any age. They often (mistakenly) view the older woman as "easier" (read: more accepting/more direct/sexually desperate/any combination of same): yeah sure, we don't like stupid posturing games (a 20-year old stranger calling me "baby" makes me cringe in embarrassment - for him!), but as we get to know a guy, we still like a bit of courtship (the social equivalent of foreplay - and what woman doesn't like THAT?).
