As for society... Society, until recently, has been run by men. So it's "cool" to have a young, hot wife/girlfriend, because the other guys are jealous/would do the same thing.

If anything, I think the older woman/younger man relationship is more honest! There is more sex because both are closer to their peaks. Whereas with an older guy/younger woman, they are further from their peaks and will never get any closer.

I would like to echo the person who said something like, "after dating older women, younger ones just start to get on my nerves." I totally agree. Older women are so much more fun!
