Twigs, I don't know if any of your comments were directed towards mine - I wasn't directing anything towards yours, in any case.
When I cited Tarni's
"she wants her claws in you", I replied,
"Sounds like she wants a serious long-term relationship, which many women on this site also claim to want", because I found her comment to be a common example of women being suspicious and critical of other women, who simply might just want more or less what 90% of women (here, there, everywhere) say they want, as well!
I want to make it absolutely clear that this is nothing personal towards Tarni - believe me, if it was just one woman in the world thinking this way, it would be rare, unusual and unworthy of comment - but of course it's not. Tarni's remark just opened the opportunity to indirectly (now directly) raise this fascinating

question:
Why do women always want to believe the worst about other women?
It happens ALL the time (which was my whole point about the comment): "real life" or Internet, it makes no difference.
