I've got no advice, but I can tell you that for me it's a real red flag when someone reaches their late 20's or beyond and has never had any kind of relationship other than very short term.
I once knew a 27-year old virgin (sexually and relationship-wise), he was very sweet, we became very close and were together for almost 2 years, but once he felt less f*cked up and more fixed-up, he wanted to move on.
So now I don't take on similar 'human recuperation projects", although among the cougar-seeking crowd, there are a LOT of them.
